The New Way of Working (NWoW) focuses on creating a flexible, digital, and collaboration-oriented work environment. This means employees are given more autonomy, often work in a hybrid model (a combination of working from home and in the office), and use digital tools to collaborate efficiently.
The role of the project manager as an interior architect in the NWoW is to design and create workspaces that fit these flexible environments. The project manager ensures that the workspace provides the right balance between collaboration, focus, and relaxation. This includes integrating technology, selecting multifunctional furniture, and adapting the interior to the needs of the team. In addition, the project manager coordinates the entire process from design to execution, making sure the project is completed on time and within budget.
We guide you through this study
Questions such as: "Will the office become a meeting place for employees and clients to come together and work on projects?", "How large does the physical office still need to be if the organization continues to work with a Home Office Policy?", "Is my work environment futureproof?", "How do we organize hybrid working?"... are increasingly emerging and need to be critically addressed.
During this process, Quares supports you in making strategic decisions and provides insights into the New Way of Working.
This term has been used for several years, but it’s important to emphasize that the new way of working for one organization is not necessarily the same for another. Every company has its own identity and follows its own vision, which should be reflected both internally and externally. This identity and vision will serve as our guiding principles in implementing and applying the new way of working within your organization.
In a first phase, we will sit together to align the needs and wishes of your organization. Based on the information gathered through targeted questioning, a tailor-made program can be drawn up — ranging from occupancy measurements to a Multi-Criteria Analysis. In the following phases, Quares will carry out further analyses to gather the necessary data, allowing us to draw the right conclusions.
This conclusion will show to what extent and how the New Way of Working can be applied within your organization. From that moment on, our Project Manager from the Design & Build department will develop a design, taking into account the required surface area to support your organization, as well as integrating the workplace typologies associated with the new way of working into the layout.
Once a design is finalized, a budget estimate will be prepared to map out the investment cost. Upon approval, the Project Manager will also be responsible for drawing up a timeline and coordinating both the execution and final delivery.
At Quares, we help you initiate this study and guide you throughout the entire process so that your organization can respond to the needs and wishes that prevail today, ensuring your physical work environment is prepared for the vision your organization has for the future.
