Log inQuares Facility Management has expanded its client portfolio with the award of a handsome assignment for Thomas Cook Group Belgium, which has appointed Quares as property & facility manager for its head office and retail network.
26 April 2017Thomas Cook Group Belgium aims to focus more on its core business in the future and it was for this reason that the tour operator recently decided to outsource the management of its entire head office operations in Ghent.
In June and July of 2016, Quares carried out a thorough examination of Thomas Cook’s facilities organisation, after which it made a number of proposals for integrated property & facility management.
The building in Ghent, which has floor space of 9,700 m², is in the process of changing from a single-tenant facility into a multi-tenant building. To enable this transition and to oversee the way the building evolves commercially, Thomas Cook Group Belgium will be drawing on the property and facility management skills of the team at Quares.
In addition to the project for head office, the division will also be responsible for the facility management of all 92 of Thomas Cook Group Belgium’s retail outlets across the country.
